Mandy Lisson

Mandy Lisson – Project Manager/Ecologist/GIS Officer

Mandy Lisson has been a member of Greenloaning as an ecologist for four years and has been involved in numerous projects within that period including the Casino Rail Freight Terminal, Ecological Constraints of Mount Carrington Mine and numerous Reviews of Environmental Factors projects for the Roads and Maritime Services. She is a highly efficient project manager and a competent GIS operator with both ArcGIS and MapInfo software and is also a skilled landscape designer with AutoCAD experience.  Mandy has strong botanical skills and also is experienced in fauna survey techniques. Mandy worked as a bush regenerator for many years, providing her with an excellent level of familiarity with restoration and regeneration principles. She also has a particular interest in shorebirds and wetland ecology and is developing strong capabilities in that field. In this respect, she recently prepared a Wetland Management Plan for the Casino Rail Freight Terminal inclusive of a Restoration and Rehabilitation Plan for the wetland and completed her Honour project in shorebird ecology.

Mandy’s qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours) – Southern Cross University, Lismore

  • Diploma in Horticulture – Landscape Design, TAFE NSW

  • Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management, TAFE NSW

  • Target threatened species surveys and management
