Alison Martin has been providing expert witness services and expert advice in commissions of inquiry and environmental court cases since the mid 1980’s. She is familiar with the Expert Witness Code of Conduct and relies on sound scientific data and principles to provide the most reliable advice possible. Additionally, as a result of her experience with environmental issues and disputes, Alison developed a strong interest in environmental legislation and subsequently graduated in a Masters of Environmental Law from Macquarie University in 2014. She is continuing this interest and has recently contributed to the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand submissions on the Biodiversity Conservation draft legislation. During the course of her career, Alison has provided expert witness services to local and state government bodies and private industry.
